The search for the Winners of The Earthshot Prize 2025 has begun, and the Bayes Centre is proud to once again be an Official Nominator. Launched in 2020, The Earthshot Prize is an ambitious global prize and platform for impact, designed to discover, celebrate and scale the best solutions to help repair our planet. The Bayes Centre is delighted to be one of a select group of organisations chosen as an Official Nominator for the Earthshot Prize. We are part of a global network invited to submit nominations across all five Earthshot categories, selected for our ability to identify the most impactful solutions across all sectors, from grassroots to businesses. The Earthshot Prize aims to discover and help scale innovative solutions that put the world firmly on a trajectory toward a stable climate by 2030 – a world in which communities, oceans and biodiversity can thrive in harmony. These five Earthshots are: Protect and Restore Nature; Clean our Air; Revive our Oceans; Build a Waste-Free World; and Fix our Climate. In 2024, MiAlgae, which started at the University of Edinburgh in 2016, was announced as a finalist for the prestigious Earthshot Prize 2024.
