Water Electronics has an innovative solution to address the problem of water lost due to leaking pipes. Pipeline Remote Inspection System (PRIS), that takes advantage of state-of-the-art advancements in sensors, AI, and robotics for inspecting live water mains to overcome the current challenges.

Problem 

According to the Consumer Council for Water (CCW), 3.6 billion litres of water are wasted due to pipe leaks every day in the UK. This accounts for 23% of the entire UK water supply being lost before it even reaches our taps, an amount of water that could cover the needs of 21.5 million people in the UK.  

Solution

At Water Electronics we have an innovative solution, - the Pipeline Remote Inspection System (PRIS) that takes advantage of state-of-the-art advancements in sensors, AI, and robotics for inspecting live water mains to overcome the current challenges. 

Market

Our target market is the pipeline inspection market domestically and internationally. Our initial customers are water providers primarily within the UK. They would also serve as the end users of the product/service. 

We have already spoken with Hydrosave, Mitsubishi, NOVA-Q, Bristol Water, Water UK and British Water and they have all shown interest in our product. Some have offered to support its development by providing access to specialist knowledge, and access to testing facilities.
