- Course duration: 7 weeks online
- Access to online materials: Monday 6th October 2025
- Live sessions: Every Tuesday at 17:00 starting on Tuesday 7th October. 1-hour sessions will run in weeks 1-6 and there is a longer 2-hour session planned from 17:00-19:00 in week 7. Please note these times may be subject to change, but any changes will be notified well in advance.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this course, you will:
- Understand the broad drivers of the space market.
- Have knowledge of key intellectual property issues related to space.
- Engage in discussions on marketing and business strategy in space, including the challenges of technical sales.
- Know the routes to starting a new space company and be able to pitch to investors.
- Be familiar with relevant industry standards, including jargon and terminology.
Course format
- Synchronous online delivery: 7 weeks
- Seven online meetings throughout the course plus engagement with discussion boards
- 3-4 hours of independent study per week
- Assessments: Formative assessments through weekly online quizzes and tests, including quantitative assessments, to provide feedback aligned with industry standards.
