Problem

Since ChatGPT burst onto the scene in late 2022, companies everywhere have been racing to invest in AI to gain a competitive edge. Emerging regulations like the EU AI Act and Responsible AI standards such as ISO 42001 apply to any organisation building or deploying high-risk AI systems, from large enterprises to early-stage startups. Yet they all face the same challenge: how do you manage the legal, reputational, safety, ethical and operational risks of AI when the technology is advancing faster than the rules that govern it?

In other words, most companies lack the capacity, knowledge, tools and processes to build and use AI responsibly and stay ahead of evolving regulations. But it’s not just about compliance. Just as cybersecurity became essential to doing business online, trust will define success in the age of AI. The organisations that can demonstrate their AI is safe, fair and accountable will be the ones customers, clients and regulators trust most. Building that trust is already difficult – and as AI and its regulations continue to evolve, the challenge will only grow.

Solution

We’re building MantaRAI – an AI governance intelligence platform that translates complex regulatory and risk developments into tailored guidance and streamlined workflows, helping regulated companies build trust and avoid fines. Powered by MantaRAI’s state-of-the-art AI Risk Knowledge Engine, the platform brings together tools for AI governance, risk management, compliance, ethics and safety in one unified workspace, making it easier for companies to demonstrate their Responsible AI practices during audits. We’re designing MantaRAI with usability and accessibility at its core – minimising the friction to Responsible AI so that organisations of all sizes can protect themselves and their customers, and help us realise our vision of making AI and Responsible AI synonymous.
