The Team

Aroob Manzoor – Founder & CEO 

LLB (Hons), University of Dundee | ACA Graduate Trainee at Moore Kingston Smith (London) | Winner of the McGhee Award, Techscaler Digital Innovation Award, and Dundee Venture Competition 2025.

Aroob founded AI-MZ after writing her dissertation on Legal AI and leading the company to raise over £120,000 in funding and credits, including from AWS, Microsoft for Startups, and the University of Dundee.

 

Maryam Shahzad - Strategy Director 

Maryam leads business strategy at AI-MZ, helping shape our commercial roadmap, partnership pipeline and growth infrastructure. She holds an MSc in Economics and brings over 20 years of experience scaling real estate portfolios across the UAE, South Asia, South Africa and the UK. Her work includes high-value residential and commercial investments, giving her a sharp instinct for sales, negotiation and multi-market expansion. She is currently part of the Barclays Female Founder Accelerator, supporting AIMZ’s growth into global legal and enterprise markets.

 

Shahzad Manzoor – Chairman & Director (Technology and Infrastructure)

With over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, AI and data centre infrastructure, Shahzad provides senior oversight and strategic direction at AI-MZ. His leadership background includes building tech and connectivity ventures across Africa and the Middle East, shaping the company’s long-term vision and innovation roadmap.

 

Sreya Ramachandran – Interim CTO

 AI/ML Specialist at Morgan Stanley | IIT graduate | Leads AIMZ’s system architecture, AI logic documentation and data pipeline development.
